April - October

  • Weekend days (Friday - Saturday): E475 per night

  • Week days (Sunday - Thursday): E250 per night

 

November - March

  • Weekend days (Friday - Saturday): E300 per night

  • Week days (Sunday - Thursday): E175 per night

Additional charges (mandatory): 

  • Cleaning fee of E150 per stay

  • Tourist taxes of E3,30 p.p.p.n.

  • BTW: 9%

  • After 6 guests: E60 per night

POLICIES AND HOUSE RULES

Suitability of accommodation

We can host up to 13 people. No parties and loud groups. We ask guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.

Arrival and departure

  • Check-in time is from 4 PM to 22 PM

  • Check-out time is until 10 AM

We appreciate your advising us on your exact check-in time. 

​

Linen and towels

Linen and (kitchen) towels are included. When you arrive a freshly made bed is waiting for you. 

​

WiFi

Access to WiFi is free for registered guests. 

​

Parking

Free parking available on the accommodation's premises for 4 cars. 

​

Breakfast

Breakfast is not served at the house. Guests can make their own meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. 

​

Reservation guarantees

To guarantee your reservation you will be asked to pay upfront. After the full payment has been received, the reservation is guaranteed.  

​

Cancellations

Full refund for cancellations up to 60 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 60 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 30 days before check-in. No refund after that. 

​

Non-arrival

In case of non-arrival the house will be held until the following day in case there has been an unforeseen delay, and guests have been unable to contact us. After that the reservation will be cancelled without a refund. 

After check-in, if guests shorten their stay, full payment will be forfeited.

​

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted on the property. 

​

Pets and animals

Pets and animals are not allowed on the property.  

​

Payments

We ask our guests to transfer the payment to the dedicated bank account. 

​

Lost and found

We do not assume any liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please let us know immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item. 

Lost & Found items are held for fourteen days if they are not claimed by guests.

Damage and/or theft of hotel property

Guests are liable for any damage they cause (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the house or property. 

​

Disputes and Claims
Any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these policies shall come under the jurisdiction of the most competent court in the Netherlands.

Mahalo house respects your personal data and ensures that the personal information that is provided to us or that we otherwise obtain is treated confidentially. Personal data is all information about a person. Data that indirectly say something about someone is also personal data. The following implements the information obligation laid down in the GDPR for the data subject(s) whose personal data Mahalo house processes.

 

Processing responsibility and communication

Mahalo house processes personal data to be able to offer services, to improve services and to be able to communicate personally with you as a data subject. Mahalo house often engages a third party for evaluation of our services. As a data subject, you make the choice yourself to participate in this and to leave personal data behind. You can also sign up to receive a newsletter or other forms of communication from Mahalo house.

 

Objective of processing personal data

Mahalo house processes the personal data mentioned below exclusively for the following purposes:

  • reservations

  • communication on reservations or requests

  • comply with legal and regulatory requirements

  • marketing- and communication activities

Which personal data are processed?

Mahalo house processes the following (types or categories) of personal data for the purpose of providing services or provided by the person concerned on his own initiative:

  • First and last name

  • Address data

  • Email

  • Telephone number

  • Bank account number

  • Other data that have been shared by subjects

Mahalo house processes the aforementioned personal data because it has been provided by you as a data subject on your own initiative, has been obtained in the context of the service provision, has been made known to us by third parties, including counterparties, or has become known through public sources.

Basis for processing personal data

Mahalo house processes the above-mentioned personal data exclusively on the basis of the following grounds as referred to in Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • legal obligation

  • performance of an agreement

  • obtained permission of the data subject(s)

  • legitimate interest

 

Sharing personal data with third parties

Mahalo house only shares your personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for the provision of services with due observance of the aforementioned purposes. In addition, Mahalo house can provide personal data to a third party, such as a supervisor or another body with public authority, insofar as there is a legal obligation to do so. A processing agreement is concluded with the third party that processes your personal data on behalf of and on behalf of Mahalo house, whereby that third party is also obliged to comply with the GDPR. Third parties engaged by Mahalo house, who offer services as controller, are responsible for compliance with the GDPR for the (further) processing of your personal data. This includes an accountant, civil-law notary, or other third party engaged for a second opinion or expert report. 

 

Security personal data

Mahalo house attaches great importance to the security and protection of your personal data and, taking into account the state of the art, ensures appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee a security level appropriate to the risk. In the event Mahalo house uses services from third parties, such as an IT supplier, Mahalo house will lay down agreements on adequate security measures in the context of the protection of personal data in a processing agreement.

Retention period personal data

Mahalo house does not store personal data that are processed for longer than is necessary for the aforementioned purposes of data processing or is required by law and regulations.

 

Privacy rights data subjects

You can send a request for access, correction, limitation, opposition, data transferability, deletion of your personal data or withdrawal of previously given permission via the contact details below. You will receive further notice from us within four weeks of receipt of your request. Circumstances may arise in which Mahalo house cannot or cannot fully implement your request as a data subject. Statistics and cookies

Mahalo house keeps track of usage data of the website(s) for statistical purposes. The personal data collected in this way are in principle anonymous and are not sold by Mahalo house to third parties. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone during your visit to the Mahalo house website(s).
